Bahco screws in a solid Kiwi set

Designed specifically for Kiwi workshops, Bahco has brought out a new 10-piece screwdriver set that will really twist your fancy.
This new Bahco set was made using the expertise of an international company that has more than 125 years experience in delivering top-quality tools tro the market.
Though Bahco tools are all European-made, their newest screwdriver set was developed and customised especially for the New Zealand market.

Get FAT with Stanley

I'm always open to trying out new tools, but didn't think something like the standard utility knife could really be improved on all that much.

Stanley FatMax’s new Folding Retractable Knife has proven me well wrong with an enitrely new take on how a utility knife should perform, combining its proven practicality, durability and toughness in a compact frame ideal for tradesmen, DIYers, and adventure junkies.

10.825_1_2.jpgStanley was really the leader when it came to the original utility knife (the family of which is still generically called the "Stanley knife"), but this new model has really taken the evoluation to the next level. Sure, the blade still retracts easily at the push of a button, but the knife can then also fold in on itself, creating a tidy little unit which can then be clipped to a belt or strap. The streamlined ergonomic design and soft grip of the retractable knife ensures comfort during heavy duty use.

Unlike previous knives, changing blades on this one can be done without having to open up the body of the knife and doesn't require any tools. It's just a case of depressing the button, sliding the old blade out and seeamlessly clicking a new one in.

It even has an integrated string cutter on board, which works even when the blade is retracted, which makes it really handy for uses such as fishing or workng around a building site when putting up stringlines, etc.

With a retail price of $16.95, the Stanley FatMax Folding Retractable Knife is well worth the money and is a tool I'm certainly glad to have in my tool box.
